[OSRS] MIDI Player/Tool (WIP)

Hi all, just thought I'd share the progress on my RS MIDI tool so far. I've recently been applying my knowledge of the OSRS & Pre-RS3 soundbanks into this project and plan on including some sound tools as well. This tool aims to emulate the actual soundbank engine using only Java, while achieving higher quality sound than possible in the game (When playing back and rendering songs). Currently, it should support converting broken-sounding songs from OSRS and a handful from RSHD back to the General MIDI format, handling the custom instruments and editing them to the normal ones.

Requesting Beta Testers, Please Read Description.

Hello to everyone reading this.

I'm looking for a few beta testers for my server, a #876 revision RS3 server. I'm not paying anyone so don't ask. I'm just looking for anyone who is bored and wants to hop on when they get the chance. I don't really plan on releasing this server to be played after the Beta ends. I'm purely only doing this to find problems in my server which will help me to increase my abilities in Java while I'm taking a course which would help, I hope anyways.

Since I'm in college the whole time and don't own a pc, so the server will be run on my laptop but unfortunately won't be online 24/7 but I will try to keep it online as often as possible and for as long as i can. Join my discord and see when I will be online, I will let people know or ask when the server will be online if I don't say when it will be online.

I'm hoping people find as many problems as possible because I'm trying to find some myself and I struggle because I'm not really that sharp (the server is definitely far from perfect lol). Now, the idea of problem is different for everyone, what I'm trying to get at is that if you think something is a problem please don't hesitate to log it. Anything such as a skill being too slow in your opinion is a problem in my eyes.

Anyways, when you login, you will be given admin status so you can debug and spawn and give yourself stats you want and all that stuff to. A few useful commands can be seen at the admin commands section of discord. I will write more if any of you need them because I don't remember much of them at the time of writing XD.

Rune Nexus aims to provide a solid community where reputation and status are noted. RuneScape private servers are heavily rooted for Rune Nexus, however we wanted to also utilize that reputation factor to enable members to participate in a marketplace that promotes safer trades of digital goods and services while incorporating a plethora of resources to grow their brands and communities.

Community calendar - schedule events for your server/business that everyone can see or RSVP for.
Clubs - create a club for your server/business or just for socializing. You can even create exclusive paid clubs that require a subscription! (applies as an account credit that you request payout for)

I'm using the RS Mod framework as a base and I intend to complete as much content as I can.
This will include skills, combat, commands, dialogues and more. I will be forking updates from the RS Mod git every update as well as sharing my own updates.
Everrain aims to emulate the experience of OSRS with a twist. If anyone wishes to contribute to this project then they can PM me on here.

I've been programming for ten years, hold a degree in software engineering, and am very familiar with the RuneScape client and server protocols for multiple revisions. I've written several severs from scratch as well as refactored several lower revision clients in the past.

Fishing Spots Showing Invisible

So I'm using an Elvarg base, and am working on implementing some fishing, all of the NPC ID's for fishing spots are showing up invisible. You can still click them you just cant see them, is there an easy solution to this?

I've manually written an npc definition for one of them to try and see if that was the issue but it still isnt displaying the bubbling fishing spot properly.

As of now I'm just using minimap icons and hoping people will know enough to click the water.

So I've narrowed it down to the model number,
If i add

It will show as an Aberrant Spectre.
From what i understand the model number for a fishing spot is 1491 however when i use that model it goes back to invisible.
How would i go about fixing that?

Hello guys! I did recently release my server and everyone is complaining about "unpacking media" i know its java version issue, every new player has to redownload their java and its kinda off.. anyone have a fix for that, its frustrating! thanks :luke132:

Are changing npcs names done in client or source? And how
I've tried changing the names in "NpcDefinitions.xml" but it didn't work
and would it for items be the same?
